Researchers are working on a new type of computing called, “Autonomic Computing”. Autonomic computing requires less human intervention. You need not sit for long hours to complete a work. The computer will finish the work for you and you can go and have a nice sleep. Once required instructions are taken, autonomic computers can work on their own. Some of the features of autonomic computers are as follows. Autonomic computers can automatically configure themselves. Self healing can be done by them self. Self healing refers to examining and diagnosing malfunctioning. Self protection and self optimization of control resources is done by these systems itself. Autonomic computers will for sure ease our computing experience and make using a computer more fun and enjoyable.
